Beauty.

My lovely sister got me this Urban Decay Lipstick set for Christmas, and whilst bored I went through every single one and they are all gorgeousssssssss ~~ please enjoy my swatches of them on my lips. (P.S. I haven't swatched every single colour due to getting my photographs in a muddle hehe)

This is a coffee looking lipstick from the Urban Decay kit. It's a beautiful creamy look which I LOVE in a coffee/buff colour. All of the UB lipsticks are miniature which is sad because I can imagine this running out very quickly. It's such a cool colour, natural for any casual occasions.
This is a stunning red. It's also extremely glossed over so you won't expect any regular chapping which is usually the issue with such a deep red.

This is a particularly bright pink and not to everyone's taste.. and I didn't think it would be to my taste, HOWEVER I actually love it and it would really brighten up any night out.

This lipstick is very glossy, and so if you don't like that girly, glossy look I would recommend staying away from this particular UB set, however I love it.

Apologies to Zoella

So for Christmas my mother let me loose in Superdrug and said she would pay me back everything I purchased (she is yet to pay me back - it's the middle of January (I am not getting that money back)), and I went fairly make up and product crazy. Whilst in the middle of my colourful haze of picking up anything and everything I found both of these items to our right --->
Firstly, I always use face masks as they do genuinely help my skin by miles and my skin at the moment is better than ever after using this face mask over about 3 nights, and the 'detoxing' hoax it has behind it makes it all very relaxing, including the minty and 'healthy' type smell. 10/10 for that then.

HOWEVER, this 'detox blend' bubble bath type thing is a complete DISASTER. I think I owe Zoella an apology as I think it was under her "my picks" section??? (this is how much of a buying frenzy haze I was in) and quite frankly it's just very shite (excuse m moi) bubble bath. I at first through the smell was great... until I realised I was actually just smelling the face mask smell.
Basically it definitely does not detox your body, it basically just makes a few unaggressive bubbles in your bath.

I use Honey by Marc Jacobs. I avoid using it for every day use because the sweet smell is definitely not an every day smell, which is why it's so lovely. It's for evenings or special occasions.
P.S. Am I new on Marc Jacobs going into rehab a while ago? I totally did not know that. I guess if you have the money you do what you want huns x

MUA Red

MUA is one of my favourite make up brands for lip stick because it's unbelievably cheap but the product quality is not bad at all. I think that sometimes I may get a bit of dry lip situation with it but that could be my sensitive lips?... (if sensitive lips is a thing?)
This red is great as well because depending on how many coats you put on, the shade of the red can darken or lighten. In my photos I have applied a few coats to get quite a bright but deep red, but it's also possible to get quite a cute dark pink with this lipstick.
I've never noticed before but this lipstick looks fairly glossy in these photos, however it definitely doesn't come out glossy in person, as it is usually a block red colour.

All in all, MUA -whatever shade number it is (have forgotten)- red is a must have, especially if you need a quick sex red lips fix.

(P.S. excuse chipped nails ~ glittery polish is a pain to get off)

MAC Vegas Volt

One of my best friend's got me MAC's Vegas Volt when she travelled America for my 18th birthday and a year later I am still absolutely in love with the colour and creaminess of the application of this lipstick.

As you can see it's a creamy, orangey/pinkish type tone (I actually have no idea what to call the colour) and it can be dressed up or down.

Definitely my favourite lipstick.
(Here's my lips hunniez ~~~~)

NIVEA Daily Essentials Range

I recently purchased both of these small to medium sized moisturisers, one an oil free under moisturiser and another a tinted moisturiser, from Super drug: brand NIVEA.
It's early days, however I love the oil free moisturiser as I, you guessed it, have fairly oily skin when I wake up in the morning and I love to have a base product on before I put any foundation on as I like to feel protected.
HOWEVER (dun, dun, dun.....)... I don't particularly like the tinted moisturiser as it gives a much more 'orange glow' than I wanted, and also my natural skin colour isn't orange, neither is it even tanned so the 'tinted' in this 'tinted moisturiser' is kind of lost on the girls (like myself) who have fairly normal, pale skin...
P.S. even my boyfriend said "you are looking orange today" when I wore it for the first time and he picks up on NOTHING make up related usually.
Sorry NIVEA, it's a no from me to your tinted moisturiser.

Girly Nail Time

I am sure it is obvious from the rest of my blog that I DO NOT like spending a lot of money... 'tight' might be the exact word.
However, with this particular occasion I treated myself with my friend Natalie and went to get a set of acrylic nails done. At the price of JUST £20 (wowies) I couldn't resist.

I chose this bugglegum/baby pink as it is my absoloute favourite colour. It's fairly therapeutic getting your nails 'done' and I love tapping my long, girly nails on my desk at work and annoying everyone ~~~
